Everyday Lentils is a dish from India. I loved the spices. The big stick of cinnamon as well as the whole cloves are some that a friend gave me from Indonesia. It smelled yummy while it was cooking and tasted delicious.

Everyday Lentils
That was last night's dinner. We never ate much Indian food until we moved here and the only restaurant in town that we can afford is the Indian restaurant. My new favorite cookbook is Expanding the Table. I had found bags of lentils at the store for a good price for here. We like lentils but 6 pounds we were going to have to eat lots of lentils and rice taco style or the few other dishes I would make. I decided it was time to try some new things.
